IT TRULY TAKES A VILLAGE!
Let’s get started.
ABOUT VILLAGE SIS DOULA
My journey as a professional trained and certified doula began in 2014, I was motivated to pursue the profession due to my traumatic birth experience, as well as my research of the maternal health disparities in our community. Through my journey, I have been blessed to support over 40 families.
As a native of Asheville, North Carolina, I naturally take a holistic approach as taught to me by my elders, mentors as well as through my numerous professional trainings. As Village Sis Doula, I am honored to advocate for maternal health justice through empowering my clients/community through education to know their options, their body and the power of their voice.
